Our VISION
Our prime vision is to spread the Gospel by establishing churches all over India and surrounding regions. Through these churches communities can be reached with evangelism, discipleship, stewardship, fellowship and worship. This includes setting up children's homes, educational schools, and Bible colleges to equip young people for ministry. Stephen Memorial Ministries also aims to establish orphanages providing children with accommodations, education and food.
CHILDREN'S HOME
Our aim is to impress on children that our Lord Jesus Christ loves each one of them and cares for their needs and aspirations. The orphans are given proper accommodations in our home and they are provided with good food, medical care as well as education in industrial skills. All their physical and spiritual needs are being met. Many of these children are the offspring of broken families, divorces, refugees, or prostitutes. Most of them don't know who their parents are. The burden of protecting these children is now cast upon us.
CHURCH PLANTING
Stephen Memorial Ministries sends its missionaries to areas predominantly inhabited by non-Christians where the name of Jesus is not heard. These missionaries interact with local people to start cultural movements in sensitive areas. The emotional and spiritual needs of the people are first identified. Meeting these local needs is the first step. A group of people having like minded view are organized as a society that will grow into a church.
OLD AGED HOME
Unfortunately, these days there is scan regard or respect for the aged people in our society. There is hardly any attachment between present day children and their aged parents or grand parents. The inability of the younger generation to take their ages parents along during migration of families from villages to cities in order to find work leaves many older people without adequate support. Stephen Memorial Ministry proposes to construct old age homes to accommodate older people comfortably.
SCHOOL FOR POOR STUDENTS
Stephen Memorial Ministry serves more that 150 poor students with free education. In our primary school boys and girls from the local community are admitted as day scholars at a much lower cost compared to other options in the region. We combine modern technology with the quality care of our dedicated teachers and staff. Our school inculcates character building and man making education to produce citizens of high quality every year.
